১) তাওয়া চিকেন

Ingredients

  • 1. Chicken breast and leg -8pc
  • 2. Ginger paste –3 tbs
  • 3. Garlic paste – 3tbs
  • 4. Chili powder – 1tsp
  • 5. Garam masala powder – 1tsp
  • 6. Turmeric powder- 1tsp
  • 7. Chopped onion -1 ½ cup
  • 8. Chopped Tomato- 1 cup
  • 9. Yellow capsicum -2
  • 10. Green chills 6/7 pc chopped
  • 11. Coriander chopped – 1 cup
  • 12. Mustard oil – 2cups
  • 13. Yogurt -1cup
  • 14. Salt –As per taste
  • 15. Lemon juice-2tsp

Cooking Method

  1. 1. In a pan mix all the dry ingredients yogurt and salt .Marinate overnight or for 2/3 hours.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a nonstick wok or any heavy bottom kadai. Add half of the oil and fry the chickens until golden brown. Keep it aside
  3. 3. Now add onions, tomatoes and fry till soft. Add the fried chickens and stir for few minutes, add capsicum and green chills and cook while stirring constantly so as to avoid the spices from sticking. In case if it burns or sticks. Fry till the smell of spices turn aromatic and oil starts separating. 
  4. 4. Finally add lemon juice, garam masala powder, and fresh chopped coriander leaves.
  5. 5. Garnish with ginger juliennes
  6. Ready to be served!

২) গাজরের মাওয়া রোল

Ingredients

1.Gajor-2kg

2.Chana - 4cup  From (4 litre Milk)

3. Mawa-2 cup

4. Powder Milk-4 tbs

5. Sugar -1 cup /as per requirement

6. Condense milk-1 tin

7. Pistachios -1 cup

8. Saffron - few strands

9. Almonds -1 cup

10. Kismis -1/2 cup

11 Pran.Ghee-1 cup

12.A cake mold.

Cooking Method

  1. 1. Put ghee in a pan.
  2. 2. Then add grated carrots saute for few min and add sugar, condense milk, half of the pistachios, almonds and kismis
  3. 3. Fry until the oil comes out
  4. 4. Now add mawa and saffron.
  5. 5. Take it down and cool it .
  6. 6. Now Make channa from 4 ltr of milk.
  7. 7. After channa is ready fry it with little bit of ghee and sugar .Keep it for cooling.
  8. 8. Now in a terrine tin give a layer of gajor and spread with a spoon
  9. 9. Then give channa in the middle and lastly again gajor on top.
  10. 10. Keep it inside a freezer for at least 3 to 4 hours .
  11. 11. Take out the gajor mawa roll unmold it very carefully and decorate with pistachios and almonds
  12. 12. Cut like a roll and serve cold gajor mawa roll.

This is a twist of our traditional gajorer halwa.
